Description

In this course, you will learn how to design and implement sophisticated AI agents that can autonomously handle complex, multi-step workflows. We will explore the fundamental concepts that differentiate agentic AI from traditional AI systems, including autonomous decision-making, goal-driven behavior, and adaptive planning. AI agents are not just advanced chatbots but intelligent systems capable of reasoning about their environment, decomposing complex tasks, and coordinating with other agents to achieve specific objectives.

We will dive deep into the core components that make AI agents effective: reasoning capabilities powered by large language models, tool integration for interacting with external systems, memory management for learning from past experiences, and reflection mechanisms for continuous improvement. You will learn about the key design patterns that define modern agentic workflows, including task decomposition, iterative refinement, multi-agent collaboration, and human-in-the-loop integration.

hroughout the workshop, we will start by implementing agentic patterns manually from scratch to gain a deep understanding of the underlying mechanisms. You will build your own agent orchestration logic, tool calling systems, and memory management before comparing your implementation to popular frameworks like LangGraph. This hands-on approach ensures you understand what happens under the hood and can make informed decisions about when to use existing libraries versus custom implementations. You will create practical examples such as automated customer service workflows, code development assistants, and business process automation agents. We will explore how to design effective communication protocols between agents, handle error recovery and adaptation, and implement proper monitoring and evaluation systems.

A significant focus will be on production considerations including safety guardrails, performance optimization, and integration with existing enterprise systems. You will learn how to evaluate agent performance, implement feedback loops for continuous learning, and ensure ethical AI practices in autonomous systems. We will also examine real-world case studies across industries like healthcare, finance, and e-commerce to understand how agentic workflows are transforming business operations.
